Abbie Hoffman wrote Steal this Book in 1970 while in prison, in many states and stores his book was banned. In the year 2006 right before July 4 Independence Day in the United States Firsty hatched a plan to return to the roots of rebellion in the face of increasing CorpGov oppression and create an expanded modern version of Abbie's paperback book written by authors from all over the net. Steal This Book NOW!! teaches everything from fixing a bicycle to addressing a hostile audience to protecting yourself. The contents of stealthiswiki.com is now available to prevent the update from ever being censored.
Contrary to some may think this is meant to be an all purpose survival guide for normal people in difficut times not an anarchist manual.
Now that this file, initially a wget scrape of the wiki.stealthiswiki.com site in July 2007, has fallen into your hands you have a responsibility, pass it on!! The content in this initial TAR file has been released by its authors under various open source licences or is in the public domain. Steal this Wiki content is licensed under the GNU Free Document License. We expect you to print, distribute, and upload it to every service and site you can find so our work can never be censored.
If an official website for Steal This Wiki is still on the net when you receive this file please do your edits and additions there so they can have proper peer review, if steal this wiki is offline append your date of edit to the bottom of the readmefirst.text file mentioning location and specifics of changes and change the name of the tar file reflecting date. When done with your edits repackage the file into an unlocked zip or tar.gz file change the file name to reflect date of finish and get it back on the net. Do not delete content, rather add notes and references why content is incorrect.
